Preschool Program

 

• Full and Part-Time programs for ages 2-5.
• Structured, Literacy based curriculum with exciting daily and weekly enrichment activities such as Computers, Spanish, Creative Movement, and Music.
• Excellent, educated, experienced teachers plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities, providing experiences which promote growth, well-being, and age appropriate development of gross and fine motor skills, language skills, cognitive skills, social and emotional skills, positive self-concept, curiosity, interest, and exploration.
• Summer Camp with special activities and field trips planned each day.

 

 

 

Junior Kindergarten

 

• Part Time, progressive program designed for 3 and 4 year olds to better prepare them for kindergarten.
• Monday, Wednesday, Friday from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. (Snack provided) Program runs from September to June.
• Children are involved in a variety of developmentally appropriate activities, providing them opportunity to acquire the basic preschool skills needed before entering Kindergarten.

 

 

 

School Age Program

 

• Before and After School care for children ages 5-14.
• Opportunities to visit our unique computer lab and on-site gymnasium each week.
• Designated “homework time” with teacher supervision each day after school.
• Full day care for teacher work days, winter and spring breaks, and unplanned absences such as “snow days”.
• Transportation provided to most area schools: Baldwin, Bennett, Bristow Run, Cedar Point, Dean, Ellis, Glenkirk, Haydon, Loch Lomond, Manassas Christian, Mayfield, Metz, Mullen, Pennington, Round, Signal Hill, Sinclair, Sudley, Victory, Weems, Westgate.
• Summer Camp with special activities and field trips planned each day.

 

 

 

Private Kindergarten

 

• Full Day Program. (9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.)
• Highly qualified, experienced teacher with a master’s degree in Education.
• Quarterly assessment of child’s progress and regular parent-teacher conferences.
• Curriculum designed for children to acquire necessary skills and knowledge in reading, writing, mathematics, social studies, science, Spanish and physical education to comply with the Virginia Standards of Learning.
• Whole Group Learning, Team Learning, and Private Learning opportunities provided.
• PALS test administered twice per year (Phonological Awareness Literacy Screening).
• Before and After School Care provided at no extra cost.
• Screening is available for children who turn five after September 30th.
